Scholar Fund (also doing business as Scholarship Junkies, College Junkies, and Job Junkies, collectively “Scholar Fund”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (“Scholar Fund”). Our mission is to cultivate and sustain positive impact. As a part of that mission, Scholar Fund operates the websites located at https://scholarshipjunkies.org, https://collegejunkies.org, https://jobjunkies.org, and https://scholarfundwa.org, as well as other websites, information, text, curricula, videos, graphics, photos, APIs, email notifications and other materials and related products and services (the “Services”).
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before accessing or using the Services. Accessing or using any part of the Services or clicking on an “I Agree” or “Sign Up” or equivalent button that may be made available to you means that you agree to be bound by these Terms without modification.
These Terms are a legal contract between you and Scholar Fund regarding your use of the Services. You may use the Services only if you can form a binding contract with Scholar Fund and are not a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws of the United States or other applicable jurisdiction. If you are accepting these Terms and using the Services on behalf of a company, organization, school, government, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so. You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules and regulations. Note: If you are a teacher creating an account on behalf of your students, you agree to be bound by this Terms of Service on behalf of the educational organization you work for, and are authorized to do so.
These Terms are subject to change. You are agreeing to be bound by such changes if you continue to use the Services after these Terms change, so please check these Terms for changes periodically.

Scholar Fund cannot and does not, in any shape or form, guarantee receipt of a relief grant, public benefit, scholarship, interview, or any other award. To be clear, any advice obtained through our website, via email or other communications, and/or through our essay feedback services, cannot ensure—directly or indirectly—any relief fund or student’s scholarship selection.
Disclaimers Specific to Scholarship Junkies Services:
Any communication from Scholarship Junkies’s Corps Members—whether oral or written—also cannot guarantee, in any way, the successful receipt of a scholarship, interview, or other award. By working with our volunteers, you acknowledge that our volunteers and our staff cannot ensure scholarship selection. It is Scholar Fund’s policy that this disclaimer overrides and supersedes any contrary advice that any individual speaking on behalf of Scholar Fund may offer. By submitting scholarship essays or any other materials for feedback, you acknowledge that Scholar Fund is strictly a guidance tool that can, in no way, guarantee successful scholarship results (i.e. monetary awards).
Scholar Fund presumes that any scholarship application materials submitted by a student represents the work of that student and not the work of a Scholar Fund employee or volunteer.

By visiting Scholar Fund, you agree that United States Federal Laws, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Scholar Fund or its associates.
To the extent allowed under applicable law, any dispute relating in any way to your visit to Scholar Fund or to services and products accessed directly through Scholar Fund shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in the State of Washington, United States, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Scholar Fund’ intellectual property rights, Scholar Fund may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Washington, United States, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrators award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
